Capital-Ready helps you prepare for a funding conversation. It does not get you money, and it cannot tell you whether you will be approved.

Everything A2E provides on this subject is general education. It is not financial, credit, tax, investment, or legal advice, and it is not tailored to your situation.

What A2E is not

Apprenticeship 2 Entrepreneurship LLC is not, and does not act as:

a bank, credit union, or depository institution
a lender, creditor, or loan originator
a loan broker, mortgage broker, or finance broker
a credit repair organization as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.
a credit services organization under Texas Finance Code Chapter 393
an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner
a tax professional or accountant

What A2E does not do

A2E does not:

originate, arrange, negotiate, broker, underwrite, approve, deny, price, or guarantee any loan, line of credit, grant, or other funding
take credit applications or make credit decisions
repair, rebuild, or improve your credit record, credit history, or credit rating
provide advice about how to alter your credit record
represent you to any lender, grantmaker, funder, or agency
promise that any lender, grantmaker, or funder will approve you

Third parties decide

Any lender, community development financial institution, grantmaker, or funder named or referenced in A2E programming is independent of A2E.

They alone determine eligibility, terms, pricing, and approval, under their own criteria.

Being referred to, matched with, introduced to, or told about a funding source is not:

an application
a pre-qualification or pre-approval
an offer of credit
a commitment to lend or fund
an indication that you will be approved

A2E does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the decisions, products, terms, or conduct of any third-party funding source.

No compensation from funding sources

A2E does not accept payment, referral fees, commissions, or other compensation from any lender, grantmaker, or funding source in exchange for referrals, introductions, or participant information.

If that ever changes, we will disclose it clearly and prominently, before you use the tool.

No cost to you

A2E does not charge participants for Capital-Ready programming or for any credit- or funding-related assistance. Program costs are covered by partner institutions and funding sources.

No guaranteed outcomes

A2E does not guarantee, promise, or warrant that you will receive funding, qualify for any program, obtain any particular credit result, or reach any financial outcome.

Any figure, range, or example appearing in A2E materials is general information about the field, not a projection of your result and not a representation of what any A2E participant has achieved, unless it is explicitly identified as reported program data with its source and program named.

Get professional advice

Before you take on debt, sign a funding agreement, or make a significant financial decision, consult a licensed professional — an attorney, a certified public accountant, or a licensed financial adviser — who can review your specific circumstances.

If a funding offer requires you to pay a fee upfront to receive money, treat it as a warning sign and get advice before you sign anything.
